Stingray is a early electronic pinball machine, by Stern Pinball. Released in 1977 this classic solid-state pinball machine is packed with features including 3 pop bumpers, spinning target, drop targets, rollover targets, saucer holes and those classic chimes for sound effects. Stingray has everything that makes classic pinball FUN.

CONDITION:
This Stingray Pinball is in excellent condition and comes to us on consignment from one of D/FW’s most well known Classic Stern Pinball aficionado’s private collection. This highly sought after classic Stern is near impossible to find in decent condition and reproduction cosmetic parts for this game are non-existent. Stingray went through a complete restoration about 10 years ago and still shows very well. At that time the backglass was professionally touched up by Phoebe Smith who is well known within the pinball collector community for her talent in backglass restoration. The cabinet and playfield were restored by Master Pinball Restorer, Keith Holbrook who has won numerous restoration awards over the years at the Texas Pinball Festival. Keith’s work on this game includes sanding the cabinet down smooth, filling imperfections and creating a factory stencil set for this game and repainting the entire cabinet back to factory specifications including the black speckle over the white base coat. In addition, Keith has touched up the playfield as needed and the surface was automotive clearcoated for long lasting preservation and protection, the results look stunning.

Over the years since this game was restored, Stingray has been exhibited a few times at the annual Texas Pinball Festival and moved from one home to another so it has picked up a few minor scuffs and scratches on the cabinet along the way…..but this game still shows very well and most anyone would be ecstatic to have an example like this Stingray in their personal collection.

We have given this game a light cleaning and had our technician go through the game to make sure that all aspects of this game are working as they should.
