This original 1981 Donkey Kong Arcade game by Nintendo of America, is one of the most iconic classic arcade games of the 1980’s. We have faithfully restored this game to just about like new condition. This is not a new reproduction or multigame…it’s the real deal! You’d be hard pressed to find a much better looking and playing Donkey Kong than this one right here.
FUN FACT: Did you know that in the arcade game Donkey Kong was the first introduction of one of Nintendo’s most iconic characters “Mario”. However he didn’t have a name back then and was simply referred to as Jumpman.
Restoration on this game includes the following:
– Brand new cabinet!
– Brand new white t-molding installed around perimeter of cabinet and control panel
– New light fixture install for marquee illumination
– Control panel completely rebuilt with joystick components and new buttons
– New control panel overlay and game play and coin decals
– Coindoor repainted with new coin mechs
– Original Nintendo Donkey Kong game PCB upgraded with ability to be set on FREE
PLAY, High Score Save as well as plays Donkey Kong II – Jumpman Returns by holding in both Player 1 and Player 2 start buttons.
– Brand new Cabinet Side Art decals installed
– Audio Amp PCB rebuilt with new capacitors and transistors
– Original Sanyo 20-EZ monitor rebuilt with new capacitors on chassis.
