Two games are better than 1. This original 1982 Donkey Kong Jr. Arcade game by Nintendo of America, is one of the most iconic classic arcade games of the 1980’s. We have faithfully restored this game to just about like new condition and have had the factory circuit board upgraded so that it plays not only Donkey Kong Jr. but also the original Donkey Kong. This is not a new reproduction or multigame…it’s the real deal! You’d be hard pressed to find a much better looking and playing Donkey Kong Jr. than this one right here.

FUN FACT: Did you know that in the arcade game Donkey Kong was the first introduction of one of Nintendo’s most iconic characters “Mario”. However he didn’t have a name back then and was simply referred to as “Jumpman”.

Restoration on this game includes the following:
– A few minor touchups performed to the exterior cabinet
– Brand new white t-molding installed around perimeter of cabinet and control panel
– New light fixture install for marquee illumination
– New buttons
– New control panel underlay instruction card and coin decal
– Original Nintendo Donkey Kong Jr PCB upgraded with ability to be set on FREE
PLAY, High Score Save as well as plays Donkey Kong & Donkey Kong Jr. by holding in both Player 1 and Player 2 start buttons.
– Brand new Cabinet Side Art decals installed
– Audio Amp PCB rebuilt with new capacitors and transistors
– Original Sanyo 20-EZ monitor rebuilt with new capacitors on chassis.
The picture is bright and clear! PLEASE NOTE: Pics show the image on the screen looking washed out, this is due to the way our Iphone takes pictures. The screen image looks amazing to the naked eye!

Original control panel overlay & Monitor bezel do show some surfaces scratches but still presents well. Includes both original coin mechs and often missing factory wooden cash box.

This game plays perfectly and is ready to be enjoyed in your home. As with all of our pre-owned games, Double Donkey Kong includes a 30 day warranty on the electronics.

The older classics such as this in great condition are becoming harder and harder to find.
