Diner Pinball Machine *

Diner pinball machine is a great family-friendly game. The theme is based on a vintage diner. The object is to serve all 5 customers. Serving all 5 customers (Haji, Babs, Boris, Pepe, and Buck) lights “Dine Time”, which is a Jackpot. It starts at 1 Million points, and it can be advanced up to 12 Million Points.

The playfield includes 2 yellow flippers, a plunger, and 2 signature cross ramps, which is common in early 1990’s pinball machines. Both Ramps can be used to obtain many points, as well as unlock extra balls.

A player can easily obtain a multi-ball. By doing this, they must unlock the Lock Mode on the cash register ramp, and shoot a target to unlock a second ball.

Game Features:

Flippers (2), Pop bumpers (3), 3-bank drop targets (2), Ramps (2), Cellar hole (1), 2-ball multiball. Two backbox animations (clock hands count time, and spring-mounted diners behind backglass bobble when game is shaken).

Although we wouldn’t consider this game in MINT condition due to it now being over 30 years old, it still presents very well and most anyone would be proud to own and play it! Diner has factory mylar protecting the majority of the playfield, preventing it from wear. There are some small areas of wear in the non-mylared areas and the center Character inserts are slightly raised like most all Diner Pinball Machines are subject too with age. Our in house artist has meticulously touched up the exterior cabinet with matching acrylic paint which turned out quite nice.  Backglass translite is in outstanding condition with only a couple minor rub marks. This game has been freshly shopped out; meaning that all components (ramps, plastics, posts & assemblies) were removed from the playfield and the entire playing surface has been cleaned and polished. A fresh set of brand new rubber rings have been installed as well as new balls. All ramps, plastics and posts have been cleaned as well. All under playfield assemblies and lamp inserts have been cleaned.  All #44/#555 lamps on this game has been upgraded with premium non-ghosting LED’s. These LED’s give a fresh look to the game, pull less current (which is great for the games aging electronics) and will last much longer than incandescent light bulbs.

Diner has been fully checked out by our technician team and works like a champ! Fresh batteries have been installed on the CPU board and all switches, coils and lamps have been tested and verified for proper operation.

This pre-owned pinball machine includes our 30 day warranty covering the mechanical and electronic components of the machine.

This very nice condition example of Diner will make a great addition to anyone’s home gameroom and are quite sought after by pinball aficionado’s due to the nostalgic fun game play of this classic Williams Pinball. Hurry as we don’t expect this game to last very long in our inventory…Diner never does.
